Visitors

A new animated short is completed.
It ended up being longer than originally intended when I realized I could squeeze some more gags in.
Enjoy.

A Different Kind of Alien

A new animation is coming!
It's going to be another short one like The Hemophiliac Donkey.

Why is it I always want to draw things when I'm at my day job, but I get home and lose that spark to create things? This little tentacle ball of joy was drawn on the back of a receipt rather quickly, but took a good chunk of my day to translate the design into Flash.

But, don't think I've given up on the 100 animals, either.
Here's proof that I'm still working on that:

The Quest to Draw 100 Animals

Unable to decide which of the many ideas I have to animate next, I decided to challenge myself to do something different.

For my next project I will be doing character designs for 100 different animals.

This is one of my new favorite animals. Go and Google it.

There are quite a lot of sea creatures on the list. There are so many to pick from.

Let me tell you, just naming 100 animals is harder than it sounds without just cheating and using several breeds of cats and dogs.
This won't be animated, just a fun challenge I decided to bring upon myself. To see how varied and creative I can get. Some of them will be realistic, some of them will be bizarre.

This will be organized and posted on Youtube and here when it's finished.

What Inanimate Objects Are Thinking

Here's my first animation of 2013

This project was started a while ago, but put on hold so I could finish Santa On A Diet by Christmas.

Santa On A Diet

So, finally I got around to finishing a Christmas animation: Santa On A Diet

I'd like to make more animations that are relevant to holidays or current events, if only the process didn't take so long. Perhaps this will be a challenge for the next year, making projects that are mere seconds in length, but responding to world events. Until next year, though, I'll be taking a break to enjoy the holidays and my birthday. See you in 2013!
